I would just like to take a chance to thank our team moms for all that they do. With so many athletes on each team, my inbox would be flooded with texts on a day to day to basis regarding practices, illnesses, and tons of other issues and concerns. Our teams moms are able to be a constant source of communication between the coaches and the team. They are also at EVERY practice, at EVERY competition, and not only are they responsible for their own daughter but every girl on the team becomes one of their own! They have been very busy planning your holiday party, collecting waivers, sending mandatory practice texts, and preparing goodie bags for the upcoming competition. So remember when you see these wonderful ladies, and I cant leave out our newest team dad, Please thank them for all their hard work! We definitely couldn't do it with out them!

Competiton this upcoming Weekend

I am so excited about the competition this coming weekend! The best part is being able to compete with other gyms from the Richmond area. The children attend different gyms but most of them go to the same schools and participate in other activities and sports together. I love watching a group from one gym cheering loudly for their friends on another team and encouraging them. It doesn't matter where you are from or what colors you wear, the love for an amazing sport can bring anyone together. Good luck to ALL to the gyms participating this coming weekend in Richmond!

Competitive cheerleading is a competitive sport. Competitive cheerleaders work just as hard as every other athlete. FAME is a program of individual ladies and gentleman that work very hard throughout their lives to be their very best. We now in the mist of competition season with it already being December. I can't believe how far everyone has come. This is already turning out to be the best year yet. Looking for some inspiration I found a few quotes that I want to share.

So excited about Fame's new BLOG. What a great way to keep everyone in our Fame family informed. I would just like to say I am truly blessed to be a part of such an amazing family. Not only has my daughter advanced on so many levels, made new friends, and has 29 SUPER SISTERS, but I have also formed so many amazing friendships with the moms, coaches, and athletes. Friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Thank you FAME.

Reflections From a Parent

We have been with FAME since they came to Richmond 6 years ago. I have seen my daughter mature from the small youth 5 little girl into a Super Senior. FAME is about dedication...dedication from the athletes, coaches, and parents. FAME builds friendships. I know my daughter and I have both made life long friends with other mothers and daughters. FAME fosters learning...whether it's trying a new tumble skill, learning a new stunt, or learning to get along with 30+ teammates. Being FAMOUS is a lifestyle. I am proud to be a part of the FAME family!

Sundays at FAME

Sundays at fame are the best. Today my day started with a great practice with SS, it's always encouraging when a team has a performance that's not their best but they come back in and work hard. Then I got to see a bunch of new tumbling from Spotlights....keep up the hard work spotlights you are improving at such a fast rate, we are sooo proud of you. Then the Rockstars came in and well, today you would have thought they were the track team based on the amount of laps they ran around the gym... Divas spent most of their practice working on tumbling, and improving skills, and Divas attacked Coach Brittany and Coach Mike... Literally attacked it was great, gotta love watching the kids beat up the coaches lol. Dazzlers were working on precision parts of their routine getting ready for December 15th, and I got to watch a cool new part of Vengeance pyramid.....I spent a few hours putting in the 170 items that our midlothian parents ordered on the winter order and now am off for the night....Long Sundays at FAME are tiring, but I wouldn't change them for the world!
