A home away from home is what so many call FAME! From the athelets to the coaches and the parents at Fame they are lucky enough to have a safe place to go when the world is ugly and nothing seems to be going right. Whether it's at school or at home, these kids know that when they walk into that gym there will be a smiling face and someone there excited to see them. I have personally witnessed so many of these kids become lucky enough to establish realionships with other kids, as well as parents that they adopt as second families. There is nothing like having a bad day and then going into the gym and seeing a kid do a skill for the first time and see that smile on their face; or seeing that stunt group finally hit a stunt that they have been struggling with. The only thing better than that is hearing so many other Fame cheerleaders in the gym cheer them on when they see them struggle; because the magic of knowing that everyone else has their back makes that skill so much easier and a lot less scarier. As a coach and a parent I am thrilled to say that we have found our cheer home and am pretty sure there is not a better staff anywhere that is as skilled and fully committed to these kids, and seeing them become successful in every area of life.
